Sanseviera trifasciata mix 14cm

Sanseviera trifasciata mix Pot Size: 14cm

Snake plant (Sansevieria) is a striking house plant, with sword-like leaves. Its pointed leaves have given it the nickname mother-in-law's tongue. There are several different varieties, all with slightly different shapes and leaf colours.

The snake plant could be described as the perfect house plant – it always looks fresh but is incredibly low maintenance. It needs hardly any care and can survive a long period of neglect. It isn't fussy about its location and needs little watering. It's a great plant for beginners as it's virtually indestructible.

Light Conditions: Prefer indirect but steady light with some direct sun. They can adapt to full sun conditions and will also survive dimly lit situations.

Water: Let the soil dry between watering's. During the winter, reduce watering to monthly, or whenever the soil is dry to the touch. Err on the side of under-watering; too much water can harm the plant.Water sparingly, this plant is drought resistant but is susceptible to overwatering which can lead to root rot.

Temperature & Humidity: Snake plants prefer warm conditions and will suffer if exposed to temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Set the plant in a place where it will be protected from drafts. A temperature range between 21 and 31 degrees Celsius is best. Frost will kill this plant.
