Sulphate of Iron 20% EKM-Fe is very effective at controlling moss on your lawn. It can be applied wet or dry, to use:
- Apply 5-10g of solid crystals direct to each 1m2 of Lawn. Only apply solid product when it is raining or about to rain; if not dissolve 5-10g in 1 litre of warm water and apply in sprayer with a knapsack sprayer, or even a watering can.
- For ease of spreading dry mix 2-3Kg of product with 4-5Kg of sand per 100m2. Spread the mixture over the lawn by hand or with a spreader.
- The iron will rapidly blacken the moss which can then be left for a week or two before raking out.
- Due to it being dense it's recommended to hand spread or dilute in a sprayer, which will give an even application.
