Our favourite Dwarf French Bean variety.  You really can’t miss the beans as they are produced above the leaves and are a lovely purple colour.  But don’t worry – they turn green when cooked.

Sowing:

1. Sow directly into the ground (4cm deep) in May to June (or in April indoors) or
2. Sow 3 seeds into a 9cm pot indoors (April –June) and plant out about 4 weeks after

Spacing:

Between rows: 40cm
Between plants in the row: 15cm
